Hello !

I'm new to Pd and I need to use the hid object but I can't find any way to make it work on Pd-extended.
It doesn't work on both Windows and Ubuntu... Whatever version of Pd I use...

I tried writing it differently (e.g. : "Hid", "hid~") but none worked : Pd couldn't create hid.

Do I need to install anything else ? I googled it but I couldn't find nor figure out what to do...

@Thooto Hello, I know in pd extended in windows there is no [hid] object. It is not in the standard download, but could be available elsewhere?
If you look in your Pd program folder you will find pd\doc\5.reference\all_about_hid.pd. The keyboard, the mouse etc. all have their own objects....... [key] [keyup] [keyname] [mousestate] etc. and they all work, but [hid] and [linuxhid] are missing.
Here is a patch with a little example........ copy the contents to a text file on your computer and then rename it as hid.pd or whatyouwant.pd and load it............. hid.pd
