Hello!
Is there an easy way to install pd-extended on fedora? I tried it a lot of times. I was able to download pd-extended, but it didnt start. I am a little bit in the technic but i am not a programmer, so to do it with "make" isn't possible for me. there are too many steps i dont understand.
thanks

when I was running fedora I think I got the packages through Planetccrma

http://ccrma.stanford.edu/planetccrma/software/pdworld.html#pd -
Thank you very much for fast answering my question! I tried your solvings before and it didnt work but i realized that now that the packages are made for fedora 20 only, not for fedora 21, could this be the problem? What do you think?
P.S.:Very nice graphic-work on your open-procressing-site! -
thank you!
I remembered that when I was using the newest fedora the packages for it were "hidden" (and possibly incomplete)
you can browse them here
http://ccrma.stanford.edu/planetccrma/mirror/fedora/linux//planetccrma/21/
or use something like this with the correct path name substituted:
https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/Fedora/15/html/Musicians_Guide/sect-Musicians_Guide-Using_Planet_CCRMA_Software.html
...but I'm not sure if this is the reason you can't open pd -

PD ON FEDORA 21Wow it works. I simply used your first link:
http://ccrma.stanford.edu/planetccrma/mirror/fedora/linux//planetccrma/21/
and installed the rpm:
http://ccrma.stanford.edu/planetccrma/mirror/fedora/linux//planetccrma/21/x86_64/pd-extended-0.43.4-1.1.svn17445.fc21.ccrma.x86_64.rpm
Thank you!
