Hi, I'm trying to continue with the RPi+PDExtended automation, and so far I've gone up to here:

pd-extended -nogui -path /home/pi/pd/rpi-workshop/pd-rpi-workshop-master/granular-base -audiooutdev 1 -mididev 1 /home/pi/pd/patch-launcher.pd

My question however is, if audiooutdev is not "1" but instead "3", how do I instead call a audio-out by the name?

3. C-Media USB Headphone Set (hardware)
4. C-Media USB Headphone Set (plug-in)

I mean.. how do I figure out which number 3 is this time in the configuration?
(there's two usb-ports, obviously, so it could be either one! )

i can confirm that it is of course ~/.pdextended , but even that has only numbers, not the name of a specific soundcard.
