im developing a bunch of abstractions that combine into a sequencer that outputs control voltages for my euromodular synth system. the idea is to get to a live interface that controls whole tracks and then play with the analog modules. so far i have:
- rhythms from euklidian patterns
- melodies and sequences through sample and hold and multipe sinewaves lfos
- number sequences that drive the patterns
- output for trigger impulse, pitch voltage, envelopes, lfos or midi
so basically its a structural sequencer without a linear time line. it can be as complex or as simple as you make it. here is one rather complex example in 7/4, this is a one take recording without any edits. check the diagram to the left to get an idea whats involved. im quite impressed with the millisecond accuracy i get on my linux laptop. pure data rules!
