just patched up some vanilla-friendly versions of these, to avoid the namespace clash issue that a lot of people have.

Great innovative use of arrays! I mod-ded them to dynamically accept signals in the right inlet. I used it as an opportunity to learn how to write externals in order to get the number of arguments (in case they are 0 or not), it's my first. Could have used dollarg but that's also GPL.
