Im a producer/Want to learn how to make my own Synth (VST)..

I know basics OSC etc, But im still confused what Pure data possibilities are etc..

I Create Heavy Basses for my DnB/Dubstep and want to learn how to make my
own unique sound (my own synth) and use it in a DAW, ii asked before about
making it VST but couldn't understand it.. I know SynthEdit can but i want to learn
with puredata because going Uni and they use it there..

any help/tips?

And any advice for Filters/formants Vowels filters ?...

Check the help files in pure data, they will help you learn the commands quickly. its under help>pd help browser>manuals. Oh, and don't skip straight to audio, you'll need to learn the basics first.

you could send midi to pd and read the audio back in with soundflower or jack, or
you might be able to get pdvst to work if you got windows or linux. Or port it or write your own program if you have enough time.

Urm So i have to learn how to write my own prgram to make it VST from PD? Im new too all this so sorry for the delay. Just Want to make my own cool synth and make it VST for ableton.

Pd doesn't compile directly to VST's. VST plugins themselves are written in C++, though, and I believe you can use libpd to essentially wrap a Pd patch in a VST plugin.

It's pretty easy to route audio and MIDI through Jack between DAWs and Pd for the most part, though. Easier than writing a VST plugin, anyway. If it's for personal use, the VST approach may not be worth the extra learning, unless you really want to dig deep into DSP and C/C++.

If you have some money left maybe Max4Live is an Option.
