Hi all,
I'm trying to use the arduino-test patch but not sure how to make it work. For example, I want to use analog pin 0, there's no 0 pin on top right of the patch, to configure as analog...
There is communication between Pd and arduino, cause when I turn on the toggle switch with the comment "pulse all outputs" next it, the little RX led on my arduino board blinks.
Is there something obvious I'm missing? Some code maybe as well?

There's a subpatch called something like [pd old analog/digital control] that shows the "old" way of assigning them. It still works fine, and I think it's easier to understand because it uses the numbers on the board.

IIRC, the new one is based on some other way that Arduino actually numbers the pins, which aren't the same as on the board. I think it basically just counts from Digital Pin 2 and up to the last digital pin, and the numbers above that refer to the analog ones.

Is it that I just open the port and hit toggle switches to turn pins on? Is arduino supposed to start sending numbers? Or is there some code I should upload to the board first? I still can't make it work, even with the old version.

maybe it's just my arduino that's might be dead. it's not responding with the SimpleMessageSystem either...

You need to upload the Firmata firmware to the board.

The FLOSS manual has a guide to help you get set up and running with Pduino. Might be worth looking at (it's in the sidebar under "Sensors").

Going through the tutorial helped a lot. It was the code needed to be uploaded to the board, and the tutorial mentions where to find that. quite unstable though..
