I've been using Maple Midi. It's just four virtual midi ports. http://www.maplemidi.com/Maple_driver.html
I've been building a controller that randomizes all of the Subtractor's parameters. I'm really frustrated with Reason's control setup though, seeing as how youhave to choose to control one device and be able to record into the sequencer, or to control multiple devices.
Thanks!!
i havent tried it, but im guessing itll work.
I dont really use Reason to record songs anymore i agree with you, the control setup is really annoying. what i do is use LFO´s to trigger the gate on whatever im using and avoid the sequencer by all means, its like having a matrix but with more rythm capabilities and its hell of a lot more fun and if i have the need to record something ill just record on ableton. i use reason these days for sound design purposes only. the ability to stack up tons of devices on reason makes it impossible to have a decent midi controller.
id love to see that patch of yours if its ok with you, ill try to build one for the malstrom (i love malstrom) in the near future.
If you want an alternative to the driver, check http://nerds.de/en/loopbe1.html
Don't know if it's better or anything, i just this to route open sound controls to a daw.
maple midi worked just fine thanks Jonka
