hi everybody!
this is the project that im actually working on.

this going to be the main menu for a presentation patch.
its intended to be used with multitouch in future.

it consitts of several planets (each an abstraction) wich get their initial parameters like: indexnumber; radius of revolution, planetsize, revolutionspeed as creation argument.
the planets can be linked to another and gets a moon of that planet then.
eachone can be selected by mousclick and media of all kind can be connected.

Of course not. GEM just often encourages more lo-fi visuals. Which I love.

gem is definitivly capable of hi-fi, hi-res graphics. i did visuals on a setup with 8 beams in extended desktop mode, and it was way easier to organize as in vvvv, as it looked. gemwin 8192x768 pixel on an amazing machine. but i know what you mean, pd123, when i look what i is on youtube.
i think the main issue is the non existance of a propper viewport navigation like in a 3d program.
i made something that alows 3ds max style navigation with the ability to select and move objects. just until now its too much of a mess to share it

its still a betha...and has many things inside you wont need...
but i think its a good start. please report problems if any occur.

if you do:

it will output mouse/over/klick
on its outlets

added multitouch functionability to the 3D navigation
1 finger orbits
2 finger close to eachother PAN (move on screen plane)
2 fingers apart from eachother move in depth

as i dont have a mt LCD display jet, i used glovepie and 2 mice.
but i cant wait to have it running on a multitouch display.
