i'm using win xp and desperately want to log the output of the pd debug function -d. however, i just couldn't make it happen. i figured that there is a dos command for piping stuff, but it seems to work exclusively with dos commands... i also tried cygwin, but it doesn't output anything at all in combination with that debug option...

my ultimate goal is to capture the process of patch creation for later reconstruction. time stamp would be brilliant in this respect...

so please, anyone out there

Look for the lib toxy from pd-extended.
The tot-help.pd has a capture example.

The toxy library seems to be long dead. Is there any other way to get the debug output out of PD on Windows?

In my case, I'm just trying to get more useful error messages than "receive~ input: no matching send". Any suggestions?

The next new version of Pd have [trace] object.
