HI- I was thinking how nice it would be to have these in PD-extended. I was looking at ChucK and it has the entire range of the toolkit as standard. Its quite nice to be able to plug in the physical model instruments and randomly tweak the parameters - you get all kinds of cool sounds.

Firstly I've tried Percolate, but a lot of the instruments seem to be buggered - atleast on OS x. There emit REALLY high level noise when the parameters are changed. Can anyone else confirm this? I think maybe the port is incomplete or now incompatible with my version of Pd 0.41.4

I'm partcularly interested in the Shaker model. Maybe I can reverse engineer the code....any pointers?

I don't know if you've used Csound or not, but many (possible all) of the STK stuff is in there. You can use the [csoundapi~] object, which is included with the Csound installers, to run Csound within Pd. And it does have Perry Cook's shaker model.
