I am wondering if it is possible to generate a keypress in PD (i.e. use some control to 'virtually' press spacebar, etc.)
I noticed this post,

which seems to hint that this is a common feature for linux users. I cannot seem to locate the external in question.
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much for the file, I'm very excited to get this working. Unfortunately, I'm running into a problem adding the external:
The read-me states the following command---
sudo apt-get install xlib-dev xmms-dev

...but neither of these packages are available.
E: Couldn't find package xlib-dev
E: Couldn't find package xmms-dev

Any ideas on where I can get a hold of these (or updated equivalents?) It is clear that these externals are not recognized with out them.
