Invisible vst~ external

Silly question probably... but how can you know it's working if it's invisible? How can you connect any signals to it?
Use the Source.
yes, I search the inlets by using a cable from another object or message box and I find them (similar for the outlets). I think this is a Windows problem, the point is that once I create a vst~ obj with its arguments I have to remember what I wrote (comments are useful) because there is no more trace on the screen.
-but, today I found out a trick !!!!!!
if I put vst~ in a subpatch it is perfectly visible!
Windows is far from being straight, luckily people can use the Source
thanks Obiwannabe for your support.
One crazy idea... maybe if it's there, but invisible, it's drawing in the background colour. Perhaps try adding a dark canvas as a background. Interesting problem.
a.
Use the Source.
no, it doesn't work, but I simply create a subpatch in the main project and insert vst~ inside that. This way (in this subwindow) I see the object... crazy, anyway this is the important thing.
Oops! Looks like something went wrong!
