I'm quite new using PD. A couple of years ago my friend helped me create capacitive sensors using both PD and Arduino. However, since my old computer got stolen, I'm having a hard time knowing what libraries and setups I need on PD. This is a list of all the errors I get. Please.. help 😅

@ironicav88 Yes..... that is a long list.
They were all part of external libraries that were bundled into Pd "Extended" back in 2013.

The easy way to find them is to open "Help" "Find Externals" from the Pd console menu.
Then enter the name of the external you need (e.g. drip) and click "find".
Follow the onscreen instructions and use the defaults.

Each library installed will reduce the list of missing objects..... then let us know of any problems or ones you cannot find.

@ironicav88 Yes..... certainly the zexy library has become a single binary and so now needs to be loaded at startup..
Open the pd console menu "File" "Preferences" "Startup".
It's a shame that is not done automatically for you when you install the library.

In the box at the bottom add "-lib zexy" without the quote marks.......click "ok" and restart Pd.

[repack] could still be a problem and there is a thread somewhere on this forum with a solution if it affects the working of your patch.

[output~ was an abstraction (just a patch) from the basic extended extra folder so you will not find it.
Here it is........ output~.zip
Unzip it and put the files in the Pd/extra folder or into the folder containing your patch if you will not normally need it.

I hadn't quite understood how to declare the library, but now it works. Thank you! I'm not getting the [repack] error anymore, but I still get this:

I looked for the external library as you suggested, but I cannot find it.

@ironicav88 [list-extend] is another abstraction from the list-abs library.
Here it is......... list-extend.zip ......... but list-abs is a really useful library that I would recommend installing. It is almost entirely abstractions that will solve problems you don't yet know that you will have.....

So I've tried multiple times to install the list-abs library and I even added the list-extended.zip files to my Externals folder, but I'm still getting the following error:

list-abs: can't open

I have re-installed PD a couple of times, and even so it's not working. Is there a specific way of installing this library?

@ironicav88 I don't think list-abs contains any binaries so it must simply be that it has been installed somewhere that is not in a Pd search path.
You should be able to use your OS search to find the folder.

Then open the Pd menu "File" Preferences" "Path" and add the complete path from root (probably C:/........./something/........./list-abs

Actually it might just be that "Use standard Paths" is not ticked in that window....... but anyway...... click new and add the path and click ok and Pd will then find the library and all its objects and help files.
I don't think you have to re-start Pd for it to work but I could be wrong.
