Following on from my last post of 2 days ago - the patch that I am working on (Automatonism/Purr Data) is now not saving some parameters when I Save & close. When I re-open some parameters are back to a default setting.
I am following the guidelines in the 'Quick Guide' by the way.

Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I haven't tried out automatonism, but in the install instructions on their website they tell you to use PD vanilla:

I have reverted to vanilla after some time with purr data myself because of weird inconsistencies between vanilla and purr running the same patches...

Also, purr data comes with it's own save/load preset system...

Anyhoo, if what the save button does is trigger [; array-name write something.txt( messages, the problem is likely malformation of symbols/array names (you should see error messages in the main pd window) unless the bang is not reaching the message box.
