Several people asked for an update of project Slice//Jockey. It dates from Pd-Extended times. SliceJockey3 finally works with vanilla Pd. Find it here:

It needs a few external libraries which are available from deken for all current platforms. Details on the webpage. The project was verified to work on Linux (Intel and ARM), MacOS and Windows (tested through Wine).

hey katjav, first of all, i love this instrument - many thanks for your work and for sharing! i've been tinkering around with it for hours and it's simply amazing!
just a small issue: i have two machines, a laptop (intel 64) and a pc (amd 64), both machines are running linux mint 19.3.
while your patch runs on my laptop without any issues, i first didn't get any sliced sound out of my PC (although direct out of the patch work). i digged a bit into it, and it seems that reason for the issue is hidden in the [duck~] abstraction in the [pd outputsignal] subpatch. when i bridge the [*~] objects, which multiply the [pd slicycles] outlets by the [duck~] outlet and wire directly [pd slicycles] to the [pd reverb] subpatch, the slices are played back. do you have an idea, hwo i could solve that?

ok, i got it: however, on my PC the duck~ abstraction from /else was used, which doesn't seem to do the job of your included external with the same name...
my goodness, i can't remember last time, i had such a fun with grunning, snipping, clapping and burping into my microphone! this patch is really neat!
