I am using an arduino uno to play synths in Ableton. I have mechanical switches hooked up to the digital inputs. However, my synths trigger also on release.

I can not figure out where the problem is. At first I though the problem was that Pd send (midi) note on instead of note off(/note on with velocity) to Ableton. Or that Ableton can not understand note on with velocity 0 as note off. Then I suspected that it was the digital inputs that sends really fast jitter when the switch release.

Can somebody help me out, maybe look at my patch. Maybe I need to write some kind of filter in Pd.

@cfry Yep sound like it, you can debounce in arduino or in pd (or hardware, but more complex).
