Hallo

I have had trouble in the past installing non-vanilla versions of PD under Linux/Fedora26. I would like to try purr-data on Fedora, but the following repository emphasises Ubuntu and Debian: https://github.com/agraef/purr-data/releases

Anyone here running purr-data on Linux, able to offer advice please?

You can try compiling it based on the instructions here:

https://git.purrdata.net/jwilkes/purr-data#linux

Instead of apt-get you'll have to use rpm to fetch the corresponding libraries. And instead of ./tar_em_up.sh -B you'll need to do tar_em_up.sh -F.
