Hi, I just started using PD and came with a problem, in the audio preferences option I can't change input nor output devices to ASIO4ALL. I tried restarting the PC and the program but nothing happens.

You have to select "ASIO" and then just below...... open Audio Settings and select Asio4All from the drop down boxes.

If that does not work.......
Do you have Asio4All installed on your computer? If not........ http://tippach.business.t-online.de/asio4all/
It could be that you had a version that will not work with your OS?

If you cannot open the choice window at all you could try running this fix......
Make a note of your audio settings as they are, open this patch, open the audio-settings and save. Then open your patch and see if you can select ASIO.
