I can't seem to find anything truly barebones from the beginning here, I arrived here in pursuit of a way to imitate the Inception or Dimensions app that rjdj designed, but for Andoird rather than iOS...so far this is the best lead I have, but I can't make heads or tails of anything without understanding the lingo and how to make it work in even it's simplest capacity. I'm going to keep reading, but I'd appreciate any help or direction to help someone could give - thanks!

Don't read chapter 2.9 (yet). In fact, give up when you find it too difficult and move straight on to some practical patch building. If you google "pure data hernandez" you will find a lot of great you-tube tutorials that he has created.
Do the half hour of reading first though..... as you will understand a lot better as you work through the tutorials.
