Trying to decide which to use. I have been messing with both of these. Any thoughts on the pros and cons of each would be greatly appreciated.

well, rev3~ is in vanilla while freeverb~ has to be downloaded and it seems that fred jan's implementation has a gpl license. If those don't matter though, I would just try to benchmark how heavy they were on your computer to consider live performance limitations. Or you could just use them both.
