ok, so i'm taking a class on pd and i have a project due tomorrow.
for part of this project a created a huge patch where i'm using key to set off different midi glissandos. i'm throwing these midi samples to Logic through noteout because i want to use one of Logic's synths. However, Logic is reading every midi number in my glissando and likewise, sending an attack for every note, creating a sound i DO NOT want.
i've based my patch off the random glissando patch from the tutorial online. in the tutorial though, the midi numbers are being converted to frequencies inside of PD and then sent to the output~. this is creating the effect i want.... very smooth and not choppy at all. but like i said i want to be able to get this effect using an outside synth.
i think that bendout is my answer, but i can't find anything anywhere where some one has actually used bendout. i have no clue how to implement it. keep in mind, i'm pretty new at this.
PLEASE HELP!
