Hi All:

I am trying to figure out a way that can let me read a .txt file with several names in it. So that I can read any name inside that file by changing the index number. Just like a tabread object but reading text instead of number.

I tried textfile but unfortunately it is just like qlist. It won't let me to send in an index number and output the dedicated text.

And it seems like PD is not good at strings. SO I am also wondering whether someone else has developed externals for this matter.

I am struggling with understanding the use of wrap~. From the help file it makes me think that wrap~ is similar to clip~ for signal limitation. But how exactly.?
