Hi Guys,
a quick question.Where is the PD source in Debian? How can I cd to it?
OSX is /Applications/Pd-0.42-5.app/Contents/Resources
… but, on Debian, I only can get to /etc/pd-extended.Thank you for your time.

Hi, Guys!
I'm not really a PD guy nor very keen on visual programming,
but I'm collaborating with another colleague on a project that in part relies on Pure Data. The thing is… I can't seem to find good documentation on how to connect PD to a MySQL database, and I'm sure that there must be one…I just found this post >> http://puredata.info/dev/SQL/?searchterm=mysql
But its not being very helpful… so…
Any thought on the matter?
Thank you!

Oh! I didn't make myself clear.
I wanted to cd to the resources of PD on my OS,
so I could compile some externals =) It worked with
the /etc/pd-extended path.Thank you for your time.

Hey, Dwan. Thank you for your response.
I'm helping jasgomes in this process, so I decided to take part in this thread.Yes… we are quite accustomed to the shell, and actually we tried what you suggested, just to get a "m_pd.h file not found" error. Afterwards, we copied the referred header file to the tID directory… but another error showed up.
Then, we went to the IRC channel… where we were told to use the pure data-dev package in order to install those externals. Still, no luck.
