Sorry, I am a bit of a newbie with pd. I'm experimenting with making a simple sampler. I want to read different length samples into an array, and then play them using tabread4~

However, as I understand it, the array should be 3 samples longer than the size of the sample, to allow the 4-point interpolation to work. the resize option makes the array the exact size of the sample.

What is the best way to make the array the correct size for an arbitrary length sample, if I want to include these extra samples for interpolation?

Or am I way off?! Probably!!
