Hi David, thanks for the speedy reply. I do have flext installed, previously my error was that it couldn't find libflext.so.0.0.6 which I managed to fix by changing my flext install location to /usr/lib/ but now I have the error mentioned in my first post...

I am trying to get the vinylcontrol~ external to work on my raspberry pi. I have eventually seemed to be able to compile it but when I run a patch with the vinylcontrol~ external in it I get the following error :

error: /usr/lib/pd/extra/vinylcontrol~.pd_linux: /usr/lib/pd/extra/vinylcontrol~.pd_linux: undefined symbol: _ZN16flext_root_multidlEPv

I'm a complete noob when it comes to compiling, and I have struggled to get the flext build system working. It seems to build a couple different vinylcontrol~.pd_linux externals in folders marked shared, single and multi. I have tried them all and none work.
