Hi

I'm using Pd-extended 0.40.3 on OSX 10.4, and some libraries aren't loaded on startup... specifically I need to use Gem. I've tried replacing the Gem folder with the latest version, and including it to be loaded separately...

I'm used to using Windows, and I've never installed anything on a Mac before, so that was a bit of an adventure in itself (it took forever for me to realise that the stuff in the Applications folder were actually packages, with things inside... :rolleyes:)

Any suggestions on where to start... I seem to be failing at using Google too

Thanks guys... I actually took the laptop into uni today and the tech guy said he hadn't got round to sticking X11 on it yet, so that was the problem
I'm too used to not worrying about it on Windows/Linux it didn't really cross my mind...
