Hello there,

I am a new pd user but i have some experience with Max/Msp. I am trying to find an object that can load files from different folders in the same directory. There are aprox. 500 wav files and i want to be able to triger them (without any dsp) just by pressing keys on my keyboard and gamepad (27 keys in total).

In Max there is an object that can read folders and then by sending it a number (1, 2, 3, ....) it can trigger them according to the order of their appearence in the folder. Is there something similar in pd cause i cant seem to be able to find it.

Sorry for the bump, but,

can anyone at least help me with a way to load a list of files (maybe .txt) to an object and sent them individualy to an object e.g. [sfplay~], so they can play?
