I just switched my computer to a G4 powerbook running 10.4.8.

I installed Pd extended and discovered that all the Pd audio has a periodic glitch sound at a regular interval of time, sort of like a CD skipping.

This happens even when I play the audio test sine tone.

All other programs' audio sounds fine.

Does anyone know why this is happening? I can't figure it out.

Here's the thing: If I have iTunes playing music, it works fine until I open Pd concurrently. As soon as Pd loads, iTunes has the same problem as Pd.

How do I change the latency, and what should I change it to?
