Hi, I read that it is possible to integrate sound objects from PureData into Unity 3D.
Could someone please explain to me how to do it or send me a tutorial?
    Thanks in advance?

    Hi,

I'm trying to reproduce in Pd a patch I found for MAX MSP made by Joji Yuasa.
I cannot find anymore the video on youtube to illustrate the exemple :-(
Joji filters white noise with a 512 band filter. The white noise inputs through a fft and then he uses a multislider to filter the audio at 512 cut off points.
In MAX the multislider looks like an array except that it is a slider table that you can devide up to 512 sliders (or maybe more). The sliders are small dots that you can move up and dow individually.

Is there an object in Pd that does the same thing : a 512 mutiband filter?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,

I am learning how to use Pure Data with the book Designing Sound by Andy Farnell.
I'm trying to record a MIDI sequence by using the textfile object (page 231-232)
When I try to write the message (sequence) to a file (called sq.txt in the book) I get an error message:
error: textfile: no method for 'symbol'

The type of message that is sent to the texfile object looks like this:
    message: 36 50 20
    message: 36 41 78
    message: 36 41 503
    message: 36 41 236

I guess that the first number means MIDI data
The second number is the midi note
The third number is the delay between two notes

    I have attached the patch.
Could someone please explain why there is an error and why I can't hear the output?

    Thanks for your help.
