I'm a third year university student studying a BA/HONS in Music Production.

I have an idea for a practical project for this year of designing effects for a guitar in a piece of software like Pure Data and transferring them over into a piece of hardware like a footswitch/pedal.

I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to Pure Data.

Is there anyone on here who knows how I might go about doing this.

Also if there is any research regarding this topic.

Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.
