I'm trying to ultimately use my HP touchpad with Cyogenmod Android version to ableton live 8 using TouchOSC and livecontrol. I also have TouchOSC for iPhone. Using this for a studio project I am setting up.

I'm told that to receive data

• install TouchOSC on my device
• install Pd-Extended on my PC
• open a script with mrpeach enabled that includes the unpackOSC command and the port to receive data on
• link that to the "print osc" command
• touch the device interface and the data received should scroll on the Pd-extended window

This is not happening for me

My android device is on the same network as my PC and running TouchOSC while Pd-extended is running

I enabled port forwarding for a range of ports including 8000 which is the default send port for touch OSC.

I tried this with my iPhone as well and it did not work either. Assume its not an issue with the Touchpad version of Android.

I apologize for not having much time available to read through the forum carefully, please move this post if appropriate. I greatly appreciate any help offered or resources that are directly related to this issue. All sources I have read say this should just work.
