Well I have to say I'm a bit of a beginner with PD so this may be a very simple answer.

I'm working on building a MIDI/OSC controller with a RPi running PD but that doesn't really apply here. What I need to figure out is how to change where the signal from the buttons goes. I want to have the buttons bang one thing if a master switch is set to one thing but bang another if the switch is set to something else. I hope that makes sense.

I'm going to have the buttons bang a part of the patch that outputs a MIDI message and then when the switch is flipped I want them to bang a part of the patch that outputs OSC.

This seems really simple but for some reason I can't wrap my brain around which objects/combinations of objects I need to use.

I included a couple of ideas I had in the attached patch. I marked the places where I need the switch. Make sure to ask if you don't get something.

    Thanks in advance, Reuben
