Hello Friends,

I am failing to control a servo using a game pad.

I was able to get some good values from the game pad using the [hid] object.
Using the arduino-help patch the servo was moving very nicely.

But i can not combine the two. When i try to create a [arduino] object in the hid-patch PD says no. When i try to copy and paste the [arduino] object from the arduino-help patch the outline gets red and again PD says no: arduino 3 ... couldn't create

The same happens when i try to add an arduino object to a patch where [dumpOSC] is also placed.

Does someone have the same experiences? There has to be a way to make this work. I am guessing the comports are getting in each others way. But way does the OSC conflict with the arduino? The one uses UDP and the other a serial port.

A pointer in the right direction would be very helpful.
