Just installed pd-extended and have been trying to get sound to output for over an hour. I am at a loss.

I get this when I start pd-extended:

ALSA input error (snd_pcm_open): Device or resource busy
ALSA output error (snd_pcm_open): Device or resource busy

Is this an issue with pulseaudio? jack?
