I'm after a really basic DJ patch please, just something to play flac/wav files, simple crossfade (2 decks) and standard controls for VOL with the option to choose multiple outputs.

I currently run a PowerBook G4 and need to play some tunes over the festive season and really fancy using my trusted old comp to do the trick

im quickly grasping PD, already started triggering synths/MIDI into Logic but need some pointers as to matching the BPM, Tempo from PD with Logic

ive been playing with PD during the last week, really love the potential it offers for MIDI, could anyone please advise on a patch I want to establish for a project...

got the basics sorted so far but need a few pointers for firing a MIDI note (say a kick on C1) at regular intervals then via a controller (vslider/knob) change the randomness of the hits, speed and interval between each 16th/8th etc..

really hope this makes some sort of sense and any feedback v.welcome!
