Hi I was wandering if anyone can help.
I was wondering if there was an object that can measure the amount of time between initiating a bang twice.
i.e an 'attack' output from a fiddle or bonk object is triggering a bang every time an attack is registered. Is there a way of that generating numbers that measure the frequency of the attacks in seconds or milliseconds.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I have not used PD for a couple of years so I'm pretty much having to learn it all again.
I'm sure this is a basic question but I am trying to make a patch where live audio manipulates video in Gem. I have got as far as trying out some of the different [pix_...] objects but it appears that Gem can only support two connected FX at a time. I have it up so when one is selected, any others are switched off using 1 and 0 messages but whenever I connect more that one, there is always one that is cancelled out.
Is there a way around this or is it just the way it is?
Any Help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Tim

Hi
Thanks for that. That will work I think.
However, the only problem is that the bang has to be hit twice every time to register the timer. Is there a work around so that you can have the timer kick out numbers after every bang? SO you can have a continuous stream of numbers if the bang is hit to a drum beat for example and the speed of the beat will control a slider.
Thanks for your help
