Hi,
gotta recreate a china cymbal sound with FM synthesis for an assignment at university and the teacher has not told us enough for us to execute it.

In my class im good at pd in comparison to others (as its a small part of a bigger module) but I am soo stuck. I get the basics of FM and I have tried adding some envelope as I can only get a constant signal atm.

im desperate and none in my class can do it, so i hope someone here might be able to help explaining it. I have read loads online and its a lot of maths and as a music student we do not get taught this.

Please someone help me!
