For a long time I worked in PD on a laptop with a third generation i7. And there was a problem that I attributed to weak graphics - a slow GUI. But, having bought a new mini PC, I encountered the same problem. I have a Ryzen 7 and the interface is still slow. I increased the buffer and tried to run Fix_PD (which, by the way, did not launch at 0.51 PD). It's quite annoying - moving objects, moving windows, connecting objects becomes torture for the eyes. And the interface of the PD is very simple, but there are such strange problems. Are there any new solutions?

    Thank you David!
But I have to notice something.
    Step by step.

    1. I've got background ([square 4] object with certain color and [translateXYZ 0 0 0] object to be sure that I'm on a right layer).
    2. I've got slowly generated lines of colors painting by [circle] on the same layer.
    3. When generating in process I lounch independent pointer presented by the [circle] orienting by data from pixels of resulting pics of step 1 and 2.
I've got no problem if I have ready image or video but when I use [metro] prior [gemhead] in video painting I cant understand where I have to connect [pix_data] - it doesnt work.

    Hi everybody!
Need some help. I use patch based on example 01.VideoPaint from GEM library. My patch generates 2D pics and I need to read changing data from pixels on the fly, in process of generating at the same time for using it for further generating with another autonomous pointer.
[Pix_data] doesnt work, because it requires ready downloaded image. I tried to make snapshots, but cant understand how to use them for my aims. Any suggestions?
    Thank you!

Sadly, but ASIO4All doesnt change porblem with plugged subpatches. Though, I had no opportunity to check you suppose about multichannel, but your patch was very helpfull. Why I havent guessed?)) I thought it was about special objects or command. Anyway thank you very much, David!

    Hi Everybody!
I need to use pix_data and pix_gain with pix_buffer and rotateXYZ. But when I'm trying to rotate image pix_data on certain place of screen doesnt change. And pix_gain doesnt work with pix_buffer at all. What do I do wrong? Win7,, 0.43.4-extended.

    Hi everybody!
    Need some help.

    1. I use Roland Quad-Capture. It has 4 input - 2 analog and 2 digital (SPIDF). When I try to work with all inputs simoulatenosly PD prints 'separate audio device choice not supported; using sequential devices" and work just one of pair inlets only, not all. Whats I have to do?

    2. When I load some of my subpathes in main patch it doesnt work (sounds) until I switch off/on DSP. It results in interruption of sound and click. How can I handle with it?

    3. About Histogram. How can I recieve area under curve (in % of array) and maximum (number)?

Thank you and sorry for my English.
