Has anyone gotten a Pd patch working that uses USB in Windows XP?
Thanks for any advice.

I'm running Windows XP (Home version) and pd-extended 0.41.4 trying to see a BlueTooth Dongle on the USB port. [hidin] doesn't find any of the objects I've attached to the USB port. Windows of course does see them. Can anyone direct me to a good Pd tutorial on using the USB port in Windows, and share a hint about what I could try to get it running. Thanks very much.

Say I have 4+ wavetables that have hand-drawn waveforms. Now I want to blend between them using a slider.
Whats the best way to go about this?
I do something like this for files using vline~ & *~ and a bang for each wav file. The bang fades up its corresponding file and fades down all the others by triggering message boxes.

Thanks for replying. It's a new type of human interface device that most people would be unfamiliar with. I'm hoping to talk with someone who has had success using [hidin] (to do anything), as a first step toward getting an interface working.

Sorry. I meant the USB port. I need to be able to read serial data from a device attached to the USB port. I'm not having any luck with Pd seeing devices on the port in WXP, and was hoping someone here might have some experience with it.
