I'm fairly new to this. As part of my course I'm making a drum brush with a flex sensor inside it that changes patches in PD (for example filter control). We have a binary stream being read from the serial port of a Windows XP machine (via a wireless link - very cool) but we are having trouble creating a code for OSC that will use the changing binary stream (when the flex sensor is bent) to change attributes in PD. Basically when we bend the flex sensor we want the slider in PD to move so we can change a filter's atributes.

Can any one help? I know how to use a midi controller keyboard to do this but we need help using OSC to do it.

Yeah isn't osc~ the oscillator object? So I just add on OSC object with a number and whatever number I assign to it in open sound control it will send the message?
