@sauce I'm not sure if this will help, but I've had more luck loading externals directly into the "resources/extras" folder in the package contents of PD. I'm a Mac user, so I'm not sure exactly how helpful this will be to you, but I would expect it should work in principle.

Was a solution ever reached for this issue? I switched from Extended to Vanilla after Extended started putting MASSIVE strain on my CPU usage for no apparent reason.

I'm running into the midi fifo overflow in both extended and vanilla and am wondering if anyone has been able to make any progress getting around this bug.

I've turned the MIDI clock function in my keyboard off, as well as tried MIDI Patchbay to see if I could filter out messages, but it isn't making a difference.

I've seen several related threads on the issue, but can't find any solutions in them. I've tried delete/reinstall as well.

I'm probably overlooking something simple here, but I feel like I've tried everything I can think of.

Macbook Pro '16
Yamaha PSR-E323
M-Audio Uno Interface
