    haj and hello,
im not a hardcore pd'er so please dont judge my noobness.

so i'm working on some sort of midi-chain device that allows me to direct the input of midi information each four triggers (or a random count) to another midichannel. this allows me to chain two analog fourvoicesynths to become one eightvoice.

i managed to make the midiin work, put a counter thats counts up to 8,... and that is it :-)

right now im a bit blocked by the fact that the only way i manage to get a note output is to make a message. thats absolutely not what i want. check the attachment.

infact the notein should just trigger between the two midichannels while the note-info should be spread over the two whiteout being blocked.

this probably isnt so difficult, but as i said im a noob.
    thnx for your attention

    much luck for the newyear,
    luis

    heylo,
i want to make an editor for my yamaha dx 21. As i read on this forum there are some problems with midi running on mac i can assure pure data transfers midi signals to my synth, with signals i mean the light of the interface flickering..

So i took the binnary sysex code, theone i want to send to my dx 21, and dropped this in a messagebox. I connect it straid to a midiout.
I press the messagebox, midi goes out (believing the lights on my interface) but nothing changes in my dx 21...

this is the code i use to control the frequency of opperator one and put it on value 12

    [240, 67, 16, 8, 50, 12, 247(

I checked the midichannels and put the "sys info" on "on", so everything seems right...

    I just don't get it !
