I have a really annoying problem that i've spent a lot of time on..

I have a PreSound Firebox and a PD patch that I want to route into ableton on different tracks (and different channels) using soundflower.

I can get the sound working (from the pd patch) using the soundflower as input (in ableton), but then i can't use the inputs from the firebox. I tried creating an agregate device, but when I choose that one as a output in PD the audio gets stuck... closing.

What should I do - and how do I get to route the streams in soundflower ( i have all these channels, but I can't decide what goes to what?? The route option is grey?)

Please help since I really need this to work for an upcomming show in a few days.

I hope i don't offend anyone by posting this - there are other threads about the same subject. I don't get it working by reading them.. - unfortunatly.

I'm trying to get PD to run through ableton using soundflower (I tried jackpilot, but I couldn't get any sound out of it..).

When I choose "Built in output", my patch sounds like it should, I just really want it to go through ableton.

PD pref:

input device: (0)Built-in input channels: 2
output device: (0)Soundflower (2ch) channels: 2

What does the (0) <-- mean?

patch is running, sending audio compute audio switched on.

Soundflower pref:
Standard sound input: built in input
Standart sound out: built in output
System sound out: built in output

Ableton pref:
Driver type: Core Audio
Audio input device: soundflower (2ch) (2in, 2 out)
Audio output: built-in output

What am I doing wrong?

Hi all. Im new to PD, and I have a problem. Got my first patch running, but im kind of annoyed by all the "cables" running throug the picture while in execute mode. I've been searching for it, but the problem is that i don't know the right term for "the cables", so nothing really pops up

Can you hide the cables between objects while in execute / run mode?

I thought of that Now of mysterious reasons it works after being restarted a few times. Now I Want to route both my soundcard (presound firebox ) and PD to ableton on different channels.. how?

oh one question though. can you drag and drop the red rectangle in some way?
