I'm pretty new to pd, but a long time maxer.
I'm looking for a way to know if a sound file exist or not.
I found [absolutepath] in (moonlib), it works pretty well on mac os x but it doesn't seem to load on windows.
I need a cross-platform solution, at least a windows one.

I finally made an external called [filexist] similar to [absolutepath] but platform-independant.
Available for mac, win and linux.
Tested under pd-0.40.3-extended on Mac os 10.5.3 / Win XP sp2 / Ubuntu studio 8.04 hardy.
