I would like to ask if someone has that object already compiled as an external, willing to share with us...
I try to make fft spectral multiplications using fft sizes greater than 65536 samples which isn't very efficient (in terms of CPU usage) using traditional fft algorithms... fftw would solve the problem (according to the benchmarks)... I've downloaded the object Mr Ben Saylor shared but I don't now how to deal with header files fftw3.h and partconv.h to extract the external one. I'm glad+ jealous (in a good way though)...So, do you believe that I have no chance to see that object working on xp? I read the package works in windows max/msp as far as one includes the fftw3.dll file in the msp folder. On the other hand there's no external object doing fftw~ in max/msp although there are some externals made using those algorithms for different purposes (filtering,loudness etc). Thanks again for your contribution to that little problem of mine...

Yes, I've found that but I can't compile the external (not familiar with C) and there's nowhere the external compiled. Only the .c codes...I just wonder if one has it already compiled in its external form...
