Hi,
thanks. Now i understand. Yeah, my patch is a mess. What it does is calculating the values for the line~ object.
But it also gives the opportunity to play a random part of the table. You line example helps me a lot. Thanks!

Yes of cause: mytabread4.pd
You can see some line objects on the right which i used to adjust the volume short before the dac~.
But all were not really cool...How exactly do you use the line~ where exactly and what values?

Hey guys,
I am building a patch which uses tabread4~. I am playing random parts of a table.
I am getting massive amount of clicks during fast playing this parts.
What is the best way to reduce those clicks between the play of the table parts?
I tried to fade at start and beginning with line~ and tried to use filters.
but all had not real great effect. What do you use? How do you use line or filters? -

Hallo guys,
i have a really strange but bad problem on my ubuntu 12.04.
When i type to fast in my pd or in my pd-extended (0.43.4-extended-20121228)
my user gets logged of my ubuntu and i loose all my data which is not saved.i really have to slow down my typing when i work on patches now cause everything gets lost when i type to fast.
any ideas what this could be?

hallo,
i try to build something like a switch between two data resources.
in my example the one is a line object counting down until 0 and the other one is a random number wich changes every 100 miliseconds.
i have a third module wich should switch between this to resources randomly.
i use expr for this and it works great but i have the problem that sometimes the result is 0 but i want it to be the last insert integer value.maybe the easiest would be when you look inside the atached patch then you will see what i mean.

hallo,
i am searching for patches wich sound like the wogglebug, the blipoo, or a sidrassi organ. here are some videos:
i have played arround with noise and random to create such random style sounds.
ok i realised to play some random melodies and so on,
but my skills are not big enough to create something wich goes approximately in the direction of the vids above. do you know some patches wich fiit my needs? make strange unusual sounds? or maybee can you give me advice how i can get better results. -

hallo together,
i am trying to analyze the sounds which come to my line in. can someone telle me how i can analyze it best? i like to get the deep sounds the mid sounds and the high sounds in an integer every milisecond or so.
the only way i tried is via bp~ and snapshot~ whith a metro.
but i think this is not the best way.any suggestions how it is easier?
regards

hallo,
i am searching for a way to combine openpanel with open and readsf.
at the moment my patch looks like this:
[open /../../file.waw]
|
[readsf~]
|
[dac~]this works good.
now i want to combine this with openpanel, that i can faster choose files.
i tried to get the string from openpanel over $i like this:
[openpanel]
|
[open $i]
|
[readsf~]
|
[dac~]this dont works.
can anyone help me?
thanks a lot
