Hi,
I have searched the forum but I can't find anything basic enough to answer my question!
I am trying to get a qwerty key to turn a patch on and off, alongside a toggle switch, and whatever I do it seems that every key I hit switches the patch on, and every patch on! I just want one individual key to trigger each one.
I have been going round in circles with this for 6 hours, my tutor isn't answering phone or e mails (not surprising on a friday I suppose) and I have to hand this in on Monday.
Please help me!!!

I take it back. I've got it. Thank you so much for your help! What was confusing me was our lecturing telling us to use the number box, which I think now is only to diecover the ASCII code for the letters. THere is a list of those on Wikipedia!
Thanks again, I only wish I could now but you a drink!!!

Thank you so much for your reply. This is basically what I have done as far as I can tell, but every key I hit triggers the bang. So if I have 106 (J I think) in the select box, every key, not just J makes it work. I am sure I am being really stupid, but I'm really struggling to work this out!
