Hi. After a long time away from PD, I come crawling back

I'm hoping to start doing creating podcasts using my Linux system, and, after digging around in search of something akin to the CastBlaster currently under beta for Windows, it strikes me that it might make sense to put the pieces together under PD. (There's a good Flash movie in which someone walks through using the CastBlaster at http://mp3.dailysourcecode.podshow.com/cbswf/testcastblaster.html )

I've put some pieces together, but am wondering if appropriate tools might already exist.

Before I reinvent the wheel: is anyone else doing this?
