... couldn't create"I also noticed that I could not save a new Path (Edit Preferences). I could add new, click apply, but when restarting PD the prefrences list for paths was empty. Perhaps there is a problem with how the Windows version is looking for .dll extensions?

jsprenger posted in technical issues • read moreI have just (minutes ago) installed pd on Windows 7, 64 bit. Pd Version: 0.43.4-extended
Tcl Version: 8.5.13The program works fine, but will not run the sample pd demo file at the obiwannabe site here: http://www.obiwannabe.co.uk/tutorials/html/tutorial_motors.htmlThe problem is that the "ead" object cannot be loaded for some reason. This problem was reported 8 years ago here, and the solution was to replace "ead" with "vead" in the .pd file. That has not worked for me. Same problem. I get the error message: vead~ 3000 3000 ... couldn't create"Any ideas as to what might be wrong and how to fix? I did find "ead.dll" located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\pd\extra\creb Thanks.
